Auroville
Auroville is an experimental community in southern India. It was founded in 1968 by the spiritual leader Mirra Alfassa as a town where people from all over the world could live in harmony. Paradise beach
Paradise Beach is situated in Chunnambar, close to Pondicherry town. Adorned with the golden sand, this famous and highly sought after beach is always swaying in a cold sea breeze. This is a little-isolated beach, and to reach here, you have to take a ferry across the backwaters, which takes around 20-30 minutes.

Chunnambar Boathouse
Chunnambar Boat House also known as Plage Paradiso is a popular boating venue and is famous for its backwaters and lush greenery on either side. Tourists can enjoy boating at the Boat House situated near the Chunnambar River. This site is located at around 8 km from the main town of Pondicherry and can be reached by bus, taxi or auto rickshaw.
