  • Tirathgarh Falls

    The Tirathgarh Waterfalls is situated at a distance of 35 kms from Jagdalpur, in the south-west direction and lie within the boundary of the Kanger Valley National Park. The waterfall has an approximate height of 300 ft. and is situated in the Kanger Valley National Park. This is a huge waterfall with milky water. The water falls from 91 meters but its staircase-step, structure makes it less violent and gives it an amazing look. This place is an ideal as picnic spot.

  • Bhoramdeo Temple

    Bhoramdeo a thousand year old temple situated in Chouragaon is 18 km from Kawardha in Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh and 125 Km from Raipur . This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is artificially situated between the mountain ranges, it was built during the period from 7th to 11th century. There is a glimpse of the Khajuraho temple in the temple here, hence this temple is also called ???Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh???. The temple???s face is east. The temple is a beautiful example of the civilian style. The temple can be entered from three sides. The temple is built on a five feet high dive. From the three entrances can be entered directly in the temple pavilion. The length of the pavilion is 60 feet and the width is 40 feet. There are 4 pillars in the middle of the pavilion and there are 12 pillars on the side, which have kept the terrace of the pavilion. All pillars are very beautiful and artistic. On each pillar there is a keecha, which is handled by the roof.

  • Rajeev Smriti Van

    Rajeev Smriti Van has been developed in memory of Late Rajeev Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India. This unique ex-situ conservation site covers an area of 14 acres. From a barren site, it has been developed as an ex-situ conservation centre. By providing an understanding on the dynamics of trees, nature and environment, the centre is poised to build public awareness towards the conservation of nature.

  • Laxman Temple

    Laxman Temple,Sirpur in Mahasamund is famous for 7th century Lakshmana temple and other archaeological sites. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Lakshmana temple was built by the mother of Mahasivagupta Balarjuna in 7th century AD. The structure plan of the temple consists of a garbagriha, antarala and a mandapa. The intricate carvings on doors and walls of the temple is the main attraction of the temple. The temple is also one of the best specimen of brick temples of ancient India. The museum of the Archaeological Survey of India in the Laxman temple premises exhibits some of the rare statues and architectural objects collected in Sirpur. Ram temple is located nearby and in ruined condition.

  • Maikal Hills

    The Maikal Hills are range of hills in the state of Chhattisgarh India. The Maikal Hills are an eastern part of the Satpuras in Kawardha District of Chhattisgarh, overlooking the scenic town of Kawardha. they have an altitude ranging from 340 m to 941 m above sea level. It is a picturesque spot in the state with its serene and peaceful atmosphere. This densely forested and thinly populated range gives rise to several streams and rivers including the tributaries of Narmada and Wainganga rivers. The hills are inhabited by two tribal peoples, the Baigas and the Gonds. The hill range is very rich in flora and fauna wealth.

    Known as one of the densest national parks in India, the Kanger Ghati National Park offers a rich biodiversity, breathtaking landscapes, natural waterfalls, beautiful limestone caves, and home to the state bird of Chhattisgarh, Hill Myna. The park is located in the Jagdalpur, Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. Spread over 200 km square, Kanger Ghati (Valley) National Park, a biosphere reserve is nestled amidst the stunning Kanger Valley which stretches for 34 km.   • Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary

    One of the most famous tourist attractions in Chhattisgarh, the Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary is home to the Bar and Nawapura forest villages. It was established in the year of 1976 and is spread over a vast area of 245 sq. Km. The rich and lush vegetation caters to a broad spectrum of wildlife in this region. The landscape is mostly flat terrain with occasional low and high hillocks.

    Achanakmar Tiger Reserve is situated in Chattisgarh, around 60 kms from Bilaspur. Categorised as a tropical deciduous forest, Achanakmar Tiger Reserve is breathtakingly beautiful with the most varied flora and fauna. This tiger reserve is a part of the huge Achanakmar-Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve, and hence, it is home to more than 600 species of different medicinal plants. The scenic Maniyari River flows right from the centre of this reserve which is the forests lifeline. Even if it’s not for a proper trail through the jungle, one can get bowled over by the beauty of this reserve in just a small trek through a few parts of this park.
