  • Sela Pass

    Tezpur is the nearest major city to Arunachal Pradesh, the land of natural wonders, and Sela Pass is the connecting point of Arunachal Pradesh to the rest of India. While moving towards Tawang, one has to go over this mystic motorable pass. It is 2244 m high from the sea level and a wonderful trek to be explored by the bikers and other trekking fans. The blue water natural lake, snowcapped mountain peaks and scarce grass coating portray the landscape of this stunning getaway. Strolling on the pass turns pleasing when moving clouds touch you with its freezing feel.

    327km from Itangar and 160km from Ziro, Daporijo is one of the unexplored getaways of Arunachal Pradesh.     Shiva Linga is located in the well known Sidheswar Nath Temple and was built in July 2004. This lingam has a height of 25 feet and a width of 22 feet. Tourists can see the constant flow of water from the base of the lingam. The temple has beautiful idols of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Parvati.

  • Ita Fort

    Ita Fort is one of the renowned ancient marvels of the region, located in the middle of the capital complex in Papum Pare district. Constructed by Ahom rulers and identified as root of the city, the region is named after this fort. Spread over an area of 45 cubic metres, the historic fort gives the testimony of stone work.
    The structure built during 14th and 15th century features three gates on various sides, known as Eastern, Western and Southern gates. Around 8 million bricks and 45,000 man-days were consumed for the construction of testament that was the guardian to the kingdom in yesteryears.
